| Michael Regnier |
Michael Regnier is the owner and head Muay Thai Kickboxing trainer at Pacific Ring Sports. He has over 23 years of martial arts experience and was one of the first to be certified at the San Francisco Fairtex Training Camp, the first Muay Thai-style training camp of its kind in the United States, housing over six renowned Muay Thai Kickboxing champions from Thailand and the United States. He has trained alongside the legendary Muay Thai Kickboxing Champions Jongsanan "Woodenman" Fairtex and Bunkard Fairtex for the last 10 years, as well as trained and worked with the late Muay Thai Champion Alex Gong.
Michael has lived and fought in Thailand and has competed in the K-1, an internationally renowned heavyweight competition. He is the former California Cruiserweight Muay Thai Champion and is currently taking on the heavy weight division. Regnier has trained fighters such as UFC Heavy Weight Champion Rico Rodriguez and King of the Cage World Champion Dean Lister. In addition, Regnier is a Krav Maga certified self-defense instructor. Regnier was instrumental in creating the most successful Muay Thai Kickboxing gyms in San Francisco and San Diego.

"Dee" Pooler is a top-ranked trainer for Bay Area martial artists and boxers and has been around the kickboxing and boxing scene for almost four decades! He is a former professional middleweight himself and has trained as many as 25 top professional fighters at one time. He is currently working with Martha "The Shadow" Salazar (former Kickboxing IFCA Heavyweight World Champion) and the current WBE Heavyweight, Super heavyweight, and WIBF Heavyweight world champion. He has also worked with two-time World champ Luisito Espinosa, Muay Thai Champions Jongsanan Fairtex, Enn Fairtex, and the late Alex Gong.

Dee has a military background and started teaching Boxing/Kickboxing and Shoto Kan Karate for the US Army from 1978 to 1988. He also wrestled throughout college and high school. Dee is an Oakland native.

Michael met Coke several years ago in Thailand when they were roommates at the Fairtex Training Camp in Bangkok. Coke began his fighting career at the age of 13. His first trainer was the legendary Jongsanan ?Wooden Man? Fairtex. Coke fought his way to the top, fighting in numerous television stadiums in Thailand and eventually the world renowned Lumpini and Ratchadamnoen Stadiums, where he consistently ranked at the top 10 in various weight classes ranging from 112 to 120 pounds. He has fought and beat legendary names such as Onepichai Sohomsing, Sankang Solrelygoon, Detkalong Salsumari, Natow, and Omnipon. He even defeated Buakaw ?Por Pramuk,? now the 3-time K-1 MAX World Champion. Coke has fought professionally for over 14 years and has over 250 fights, an extraordinary number when compared to top western fighters (for example, the legendary Muhammad Ali fought about 60 fights in his professional career).
Coke continues to fight even as he has moved into the realm of trainer. He is a very humble, patient, motivating, and technical trainer, imparting his years of experience and patience into any willing student who displays a commitment and passion for the art.

| Robert (Saiyan) Prakhantree |
Michael first met Robert in 1998 when he was training in Thailand. Robert was in his prime ranked top 10 at the prestigious Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand. Robert has been a Muay Thai fighter since he was 13. In his career, Robert fought 60 times at Lumpinee, winning 48 times (10 loss, 2 draw), and reaching number 8 in the flyweight class. Robert also fought in a number of other professional competitions, including Ratchadumnen stadium, special program fights for Thai TV channels, numerous up-country competitions, and even the Thai Navy. While in the Navy, Robert also competed in Western-style boxing as a contender in the Thai National Championships. At the same time, Robert was 2-time Eastern Thailand Champion at Tepparasit Stadium in Pattaya (bantamweight and featherweight classes).

| Earl Butler |
Earl Butler is the head MMA instructor. Earl grew up on the south side of Richmond, CA where his passion for athletics and competition was apparent from an early age. He participated in AAU track & field, basketball, and baseball. Earl attended Salesian High School, in Richmond excelling in Track & Field and Football. After competing at the collegiate level in both sports, Earl still had a strong desire to be involved in athletics. Earl’s excitement for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu began in 1993 when he saw UFC 1. There, a man named Royce Gracie competed in a No-Holds-Barred tournament against opponents with diverse Martial Arts backgrounds. In 1998 Earl was introduced to Cesar Gracie Jiu-Jitsu and had the opportunity to train with many great competitors and current MMA fighters such as: Jake Shields, Nick and Nathan Diaz, David Terrell, Nathan Ducharme, Gil Castillo, Gil Melendez, etc. After a fellow training partner named Ben Cochrane ventured out to train with UFC veteran Val Ignatov, the idea of cross-training in more than one art with more than one instructor became a controversial, but necessary, endeavor. Since this time he has had the opportunity to train with artists from various backgrounds such as: Casey Strand, Tim Lajcik, Mike Regnier, Joao Perini, Adilson Lima, Marcos Nasciemiento, Val Ignatov,etc.

David is the Assistant Muay Thai and Boxing instructor. David?s natural athleticism is seen through his versatility in sports. He was always involved in various martial arts growing up, and played football for Cal Berkeley. A serious injury in football led him to begin training in boxing. A friend introduced him to Pacific Ring Sports two years ago, and he began training Muay Thai under Michael Regnier since then. Michael immediately saw he was quick learner and that he was completely dedicated to his training. He is a promising fighter, competing successfully in many local events. His patience, positive and friendly attitude are the reasons for his great rapport with students of all levels. David grew up in Texas and is the eldest of six kids.
